Experience Kinshasa Beyond the Surface

From the broad avenues of Gombe to lively neighborhoods, local markets and the banks of the Congo River, the tour offers a flexible introduction to the many faces of Kinshasa.

Depending on your interests and available time, the day can include Congolese art, historic monuments, the National Museum, local markets, city landmarks and viewpoints across the Congo River toward Brazzaville.

Longer excursions can also be arranged to places such as Lola ya Bonobo, Lac Ma Vallée or destinations on the outskirts of the city.

Because traffic in Kinshasa can significantly affect travel times, we normally recommend selecting around five or six key experiences for a full-day tour rather than trying to cover the entire city in one itinerary.
